About the founder!
Anna Laible is an aspiring professional play-by-play sports broadcaster. After starting as a reporter for Sports Illustrated Kids at 14, she also started her own podcast during COVID, called Speak Up Sports, to highlight trailblazers all across the sports industry.  She was the youngest on UNC's reporting Olympic team to cover the Paris Olympics, where she reported for the Raleigh News & Observer and is leaving in early February to cover her first Super Bowl for the N&O! Her accomplishments at a young age has pushed her to want to create more opportunities for others in sports broadcasting, which is why she created the Laible Sports Commentary Network. This platform creates a quick + easy process for broadcasters and employers to find each other for one game or for a whole season. It helps make the daunting task of trying to find a broadcasting job for specific time periods in different areas more simplified.
